Má̂ Tḩä́wä Vǖy (/mʊ̌/ /θǽwæ/ [steep] [north]) is a subtropical Town located in the Doûvnḱínts̄r Region of the Confederation of Goblin Tribes.

The name Má̂ Tḩä́wä Vǖy is derived from the Goblin language, as Má̂ Tḩä́wä Vǖy was founded by Zlel Grêbel Tsèsîd Trgêyë Èbmesîpí Giant Whiptail Centipedes Stegocentipede, who was culturaly Goblin.

Climate

Overview

Má̂ Tḩä́wä Vǖy was founded durring the early 9th century, by Zlel Grêbel Tsèsîd Trgêyë Èbmesîpí Giant Whiptail Centipedes Stegocentipede. The establishment of Má̂ Tḩä́wä Vǖy was only bairly constructed. The sheer number of problems with its founding were enough to make several of the backers funding Má̂ Tḩä́wä Vǖy's construction back out of the project. Zlel Grêbel Tsèsîd Trgêyë Èbmesîpí Giant Whiptail Centipedes Stegocentipede pushed on reguardles, and Má̂ Tḩä́wä Vǖy was finished, but starts off as a terible place to live.

Má̂ Tḩä́wä Vǖy was built using the conventions of Goblin durring the early 9th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Má̂ Tḩä́wä Vǖy is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature delicute timber framework hidden behind layer upon layer of finly ground plaster bleached to an almost glossy white sheen, with green clay tiled roofs and decorative brass-leafed trim. Even the smallest, poorest looking structures appear to be expencive thanks to the extreem elegence of the organic shapes and paterns going into their lofty, spire-y, vagly gothic designs. The more well off folks live in identicle homes, save for even shiner trim and a more whimsical appearance to their structures flowing forms.

Má̂ Tḩä́wä Vǖy is buildings are arranged arrounded highly ordered system of restrictive paverstone streets which form hexical paterns, allowing the incides of the octagons to be common grounds for the buildings on the edges, be it for parkland, yardspace, plazas, or markets. The town posesses a fortified albit thin wall of querried stone. This wall posesses most of the features of a castle wall, though it is constructed from cheeper inferior stone. It would pose a minor chalange for an attacking army, though it's clear the wall's true purpose is to crush the hopes of bandits and marauders. The town's failry decent fortifications are visibly old, but also obviously well maintained. Its likly the local malishia or garrison are tasked with routine mantance of the town's defences.

Má̂ Tḩä́wä Vǖy has a very calm atmosphere. People can be seen relaxing, scocilizing, and going about all manner of business other than the daily grind. Men, women, children, all can be seen enjoying life in a laid-back way in the many parks which line Má̂ Tḩä́wä Vǖy’s streets. In spite of this, quite a few people can be seen reading and the town has an abundance of libraries. It’s quite clear the community values education.

Cultural Notes

Má̂ Tḩä́wä Vǖy is home to a distinct subculture, who are either the majority here or have the dominant positions in the community. Architecture, local laws, and social customs are all tuned to suit them, and they may not be particularly forgiving or friendly to the major culture of the region. Communities that are not outright independent usually make an arm's-length submission to a local lord.

Má̂ Tḩä́wä Vǖy's chapel was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is known for its buildings being predominantly formed through the combination of basic geometric shapes. However, it shown in the detailing given to the structures such as its characteristic tall columns, intricate detail, symmetry, harmony, and balance in their designs to an astonishing degree of precision. Decorative elements for the buildings tended to be built into the structure itself, making great use of fluting, frescoes, inlays, and embossing.

Due to the actions of local Kami, spring is short in Má̂ Tḩä́wä Vǖy.

Má̂ Tḩä́wä Vǖy's citizens partake in a curious ritual relating to their local kami. It takes place in summer and involves sacrificing an animal to channel Necromancy energies of tier 3 via chanting.
